To build a completely new welding production line for an electric vehicle model, a European car manufacturer relied on GIEC’s expertise. Within a tight schedule, we realised a reliable electrical installation ready for the future.

• Power distribution via Siemens bus bars (800 A) to dozens of welding robots
• General and emergency lighting in the work area (approx. 250 luminaires)

Especially the power distribution via bus bars was both technically challenging and crucial for stable operation of the line. This approach provides a compact, flexible solution that is ready for future expansions or adjustments to production capacity.

Reliability under time pressure

One of the biggest challenges was the very short lead time of five months. At the same time, the line was built with multiple contractors, so good coordination between them was essential. Our experience of co-activity in complex industrial environments allowed us to switch efficiently between phases and teams.

In addition, we guarantee technical reliability, even under time pressure. Every connection, component and light point was checked and delivered according to the applicable standards. Thus, the electrical installation contributes to a safe, stable and sustainable production environment.
